WIW - Dress up Friday

I know, this isn’t very dressed up. I’m going to our church to do some paperwork, and might stop at the grocery store. My husband’s birthday is this weekend, and since we won’t be going out, I want to get something special for dinner - maybe ribs. He’s already requested his birthday cake, a rhubarb pie!

Pants and top are from Eddie Bauer, sandals are Mephisto.

Angie, thank you. I cut my hair some more today. I have good scissors and, apparently, nerves of steel.

Hereforthecake, I was very casual before the quarantine, so actually not much has changed, except I took off my slippers.

I like the illusion that the gradient creates of the bottom of your top almost 'melting' into the top of your bottoms

Zaeobi, thank you. Funny you should mention the gradient. The top and pants, both from Eddie Bauer, are the same shade of blue, slightly different from anything else I have.

Looks great all the way around! That's kind of my idea of "dressed up" as I WFH, too! Love the rhubarb pie! We have already had our first batch of rhubarb berry crisp this year. I only have one rhubarb plant, but it produces plenty. We need to use it more.

Becky, thank you. We have at least a half dozen plants. My favorite thing to make is a cobbler. It’s much easier than pie, but tastes just as good. I made a pie because it’s more impressive for a birthday.

Yummy looking outfit and pie! And so summery. We may get to the upper 60s today.

And your hair is looking good! I finally trimmed the back of my hair with DH's old beard trimmer yesterday - set on the longest guard he had (15?). I may have the courage and boredom/frustration to tackle the sides today or tomorrow.
