I had an important meeting today so I decided to step it up beyond my usual look of jeans in the lab, but I also didn't want to be too dressed up for the rest of the day. I went with purple straight leg trousers and a cream blouse. I was initially going to go with a black cardigan but decided to go with a sort of column of color on top and wear my cream cardigan instead. And then I added the necklace for a little extra detail. I love the drape on this blouse and felt comfortable and put together (but not overdressed!). I'll probably break this outfit again for an upcoming conference.
