Hello dear people of YLF
I was not active here for a while because I am going through some rough patch at the moment and didn’t have enough energy and was not in right frame of mind to participate. But I hope I can see some light at the end of a tunnel and that I will be able to participate more regularly soon. Looking forward to the holidays and hoping for a fresh start in a new year.
So back to the fashion.
Yesterday blog post prompted me to take outfit photo, and want to share it with you now.
This is my latest acquisition - Boden plaid suit. Have I got the fit right? Too much plaid? Do you like it better buttoned or unbuttoned? I wore blazer and pants as separates before, but today I am wearing it as a suit for the first time.

Beautiful Anchie, I prefer unbuttoned, maybe my personal taste, I always wear my blazer unbuttoned , but it's good buttoned also. Lovely belt too.

So sorry to hear that life has been difficult recently, and so soon after your wonderful trip to Seattle. The suit looks great, and I like how you picked up the yellow in the plaid with the belt. Hair looks great, too. Is this a bit shorter?

I mean, just, WOW. If you need a pick-me-up, just look in the mirror! I like buttoned for a more current look—but you can do either. And I have to say, I stay away from plaid because it makes me feel too masculine, but your hourglass figure sports the most feminine plaid I have ever seen!

I like suits -- this one particularly. I enjoyed how you added the color pop with the yellow belt in the unbuttoned look.

That is a suit to my taste. Absolutely gorgeous, and I prefer it closed. I feel that the plaid pattern makes the sharpness of a suit more playful. I also love the cropped pants. Great purchase!

Too much plaid? What does that mean? I think the suit looks great the way you're wearing it. If you have a top close to the color of your phone case, give that a try too!

Thank you for being so kind, uplifting and understanding, I appreciate it more than you know. I am on my phone, so little difficult to answer you all individually. I do have magic BR sweater in exact yellow as my belt, just didn’t feel cheerful enough to wear my usual colorful outfits. My hair is due for haircut actually and I am thinking of going even shorter - so much easier to wash and go short hair, and I need low maintenance atm.

You successfully wear your suit both ways. And as you said, you can also wear each part separately. It's all great on you. Nice fit. And the plaid is not "too much." The yellow belt is a fun addition. Chic styling.
