WIW - Dots and Stripes, but mostly Dots

I have a polka dot problem, it may border on obsession : )

1. Wore this for a night out in Seattle. Mixing my polka dot purse with stripes. I love, love, love these boots. Reasonable heel and they dress up and dress down well. They are the Corso Como "Darling" boot.

2. Copying a look I saw on Gwen Stefani, here are the boots again in a more casual outfit. Feel like a bigger scarf would have looked better?

3. Wore this to the opera last night, I never could figure out what to wear this sweater with other than black pants and jeans, and then all of the sudden I was inspired to pair it with my polka dot skirt. What do we think, does the sweater tucked into a skirt work?

4. Wore to happy hour with my girlfriends. I love these polka dot jeans and I never thought a mustard cardigan would get so much use, but I swear it seems to go with everything.

I love dots too, and they are so classy in B&W. The stripes in #1 with the dots are so fun, and I love all the outfits.

These are all lovely outfits - you wear many different silhouettes really well. But I'm particularly fond of outfit #3 - I'm just lovin' the combination of cobalt with black and white these days.

And the dots love you back! I love seeing dotty outfits on others because I don't wear them much myself ^^ I have the same GS outfit pinned from you #2, she looks so adorable! Great rendition of it. The scarf works, but a BIG scarf would certainly up the drama there. The cobalt sweater works quite nicely tucked into the skirt in #3, and really cobalt plays wellwith tons of colors! For you I'd say try white, taupe, and gray for neutrals and emerald, rust, plum, and even mustard for colors. I dig the more rugged/distressed boots in #4 against the rest of the rather sweet outfit, nice juxtaposition.

You are so pretty. The only, and I mean ONLY change I would suggest is a black (or pink or teal or red...) infinity scarf for #2.

I love all of these - even if they had no dots. I like them because they are simple polished and stylish -- very easy to duplicate at any budget.
