WIW - Donna's Valentine's week challenge

Taking up Donna's Valentine's week challenge, here are the outfits that I wore. I did not do the challenge for a week - I started on Saturday and went to Valentine's Day on Tuesday.

I really enjoyed this challenge and it made me wear two of my favourite dresses, when otherwise I might not have dressed up.

Saturday - photo 1 - red leather jacket, uniqlo red striped t-shirt with black jeans and black flats

Sunday - Cue red asymmetrical top with black jeans and gold sneakers

Sunday evening - black jeans, velvet blazer and black heels (with a teal silk singlet top)

Monday - worn to an evening work function - raspberry dress with bow collar detail

Tuesday - pale pink dress with lace, bows and ruffles - my Valentine's day dinner dress

This was a fun challenge - so thank you Donna. I have rediscovered my love of red, tangerine, raspberry and pink!

These are all great, love the way they look with black bottoms, crisp and bright. My favorite is #1, awesome jacket.

Robin - I am glad that you like the red jacket, it is pretty old but I always enjoy pulling it out and wearing it.

Joy - thank you, after quite a long time of wearing neutrals, it is fun to get back into the brighter colours.

Bonnie - it was fun focusing on a specific colour palette to wear for a few days - not something that I would do ordinarily!

JAileen - I love the colour of that dress too - it was the reason why I bought it. I think it is a little softer than a pure red.

Angie - thank you so much - I love wearing dresses and these two are probably the prettiest ones that I have.

Rachy - yes the pink dress is perfect for Valentine's day! It sort of has everything - ruffles, bows and lace.

Jenni - glad you like #4, that one is my favourite too. This is my go to dress, I sort of wear it as an alternative to the "little black dress".

Brooklyn - I hope you had a great Valentine's Day! It was pretty warm in Perth so a summer's dress was in order and it was nice to wear something so pretty.

TracyLiz - thank you. I was not quite as good as Donna as I did not wear red to work on Monday or Tuesday, just in the evenings.

DonnaF - thanks for chiming in and creating the challenge. Uniqlo are the best for affordable t-shirts. I love stripes too.

Kkards, I am glad you like the jeans looks, because they are my casual go to items at the moment.

Donna thank you. I do like colour, but the red palette is quite full on. I am not sure if I could keep it up for an entire week.

Maneera, the jeans are new and I am rather funny that when I get something new, I just want to wear it a lot - so I didn't even realise that I was wearing the jeans on consecutive days. I am glad that you like my "little red dress" it was a wildcard (bought from the Outnet) - but I was lucky that it fitted and has become a favourite go to for special occasions.
