So here's a not-so-great WIW photo. I apologize for the quality. It's been a while and I kinda need to set up my camera and tripod still but I only have about an hour until I have to go to class tonight.
Doc Martens...
I know there's a lot of Doc Luvvv going on here in the YLF forums, and I've owned my 20-eyed Illusion Leather pair for almost 2 years and love it to bits - it's just that I almost got rid of them because I didnt' feel that it was "my style." (too chunky, not feminine enough - NO HEEL).
So basically, I had to bust out the Docs after my low-heeled Clarks was starting to give me shin splints (and just about any kind of shoe except for my Dansko Sissy's). No shin splints with these boots - there never was pain after the initial break-in period. I'm so glad I kept them.
As for my personal style, I like to combine soft and hard - but usually I wear a heel because I prefer the look of it. It's edgier. But Docs give this frilly-jacketed outfit some edge! I LOVE it. So now, I'm going to work out a few more outfits that can work with this comfy chic/girly-bombshell/edgy style.
Jacket: Coldwater Creek
Tops: SmartSet
Jeans: Karen Kane
Shoes: Doc Martens
Jewelry: I think it's Anne Klein? I don't remember.
Sunglasses: dont' remember - probably a no-name. I just fell in love with it.
