WIW - debut of the silver Ash sneakers

So the sneakers came last night and they are definite keepers! Quite comfy right of the bat, and I will see how they feel after the 12 h work day I have in front of me. I decided that they are definite keepers and just had to wear them immediately. I will still play with styling options for them over the weekend, but managed to quickly throw something together based on Angie's guidelines. I am curious to know if you think it works.
I paired them with white skinnies, and added a charcoal silk dolman blouse, semi-tucked to display the snakeskin belt. And topped it all with a black knit BF blazer. Thank you for looking!

These are fantastic sneakers on you, Tanya! Which ones are they? I've been pining after the black leather wedges, but Ash is sold out of them in my size in most styles. I can't wait to see more outfits with these beauties.

Zap, I have tried to tuck the skinnies in, but it doesn't work - these are classic skinnies bought in the pre-jeggings era, meaning the leg opening is not that skinny and there is plenty of extra length to scrunch. I will try it next time with skinnier and shorter skinnies.

Ceit, not so sure about the booties - nobody wears leopard anything in my lab, while a lot of people wear sneakers, albeit more functional ones. I know I am weird that way, just a feeling I can not shake of.

Wow, so fab! Love the metallic sneakers with the white jeans and blazer. Let us know how they rate in terms of comfort at the end of the day. I have been wondering about wedge sneakers but wasn't sure how comfy they'd be for all day on my feet.

I think you've found a way to bring cool trendy footwear to your work. I hope they did well for you. I love them with the white jeans (but would love more with less scrunch so interested in seeing them as you suggested with shorter or slimmer bottom jeans)

Thank you so much ladies! I wore them whole day (6 h of running around, 6 of sitting in front of the computer) and my feet were mostly happy. And nobody in the lab made a snide comment, meaning they fit in.
But, I have to admit that I am somewhat disappointed with the comfort level: it is good but not great. The heel itself is fine, it is the sole - not soft and padded, feels pretty hard, more like that of shoes than sneakers. It could definitely be improved by insoles, but they run a bit small and are already fairly snug so no place for them. They only come in whole sizes, not half ones. I mostly wear 8, rarely 8.5, so i went with 8 in these. I wish I bought 9 and had space for insoles, but I did not realize how snug they will be. I tried them briefly on last night and they felt great, different story after lots of walking. I can not exchange them now after I have worn them the whole day. At the moment they are about 6 h shoes, and if the leather stretches with wear (which I really hope it would) then I might have space for foot petals which would probably move them into 8 h category. Sigh...
