I simply could not wait to break out the new booties I scored over the weekend. They are pretty tall, but I commute by car and work at a desk, so they worked out okay.
1. Previously it was suggested to try the cape with slimmer bottoms, so here we go. If it doesn't look good with this dress, it will officially become a wardrobe orphan and need to find a new home.
2. I paired the grey fabric booties with a simple black sheath dress, black tights, and topped it with a teal dolman sleeve cropped cardi. I was hoping that the cardi de-bombshelled the sheath dress. Success?

4. This is where I realize Vivaldi the papillon has decided to show what she wore today. Which is to say, nothing.

I cannot think of words to describe this outfit, but I really liked how I felt today. I felt very much like myself on a dressy day. Does it work? How can I improve?
