So after asking help and being frustrated about not quite feeling like I am *there* in terms of my style, I decided I will get dressed every day for the next week and see where this leads me. Some days I may try to copy some of my pins, and some days I may just try to go it on my own. Today I just dressed on my own. I paired a silk, studded top with black jeans and zippered and buckled boots. Lots of rain, snow and ice today, so my "rain jacket" of sorts came out.
This is another somewhat sheer top, which I put a light grey cami under, but I WILL be finding a nude one this week. I need that for several shirts. I also think this outfit would work well with the leather leggings I'm still waiting on (darn mail!).
Pic 3 was the closest I felt to this outfit "working" and incorporating the "edge" that I want, but of course, that's not how my jacket or purse would be 95% of the time! haha! Pic 4 is more accurate.
