Hello, long lost Fabulous people! I haven't posted anything in a long time (here or on my blog, boo), but I've recently caught a breath of fresh air. So I'm back!

Last weekend we celebrated our 11th anniversary with an overnight downtown. We went to the Four Seasons, enjoyed the rooftop pool, then cocktails and dinner. It was lovely, and I took full advantage of the "fancy night out" aspect with this dress. I purchased it almost two years ago for a wedding, but ended up wearing something else. It has hung forlornly in my closet ever since.

One of the things keeping it in the closet was the plunging neckline. I fell in love with the dress in the dressing room, but when it came time to actually wear it in public I felt shy about exposing so much décolleté - I usually feature my waist-hips-bum and feared that adding in boobs would be just *too* much. So, for me this was daring, but I felt classy & sexy. It helped that it was a hit with my husband as well as other well-dressed ladies in the restaurant.

If there's a dress in your closet that you've been too shy to wear, give it a go! I'm very glad that I did.

Dress: Kay Unger (purchased at TJ Maxx)
Silk Thai D'orsay pumps: Rocket Dog (purchased at DSW)
