I was invited to give a guest lecture to a group of undergrads today, so I wanted to look a little more polished than usual. Not too much though - I needed to be able to put on a lab coat for a brief period after the lecture part of the class. So I went with my darkest pair of jeans and, since it was still -6F/-21C this morning when I left for work, one of my few blazers that a) is lined and b) has full length sleeves.

All of my colleagues took one look at me and said, "Oh, you're wearing a blazer - you must be teaching today!" I guess I have more of a uniform than I'd realized. Has anyone ever had that pointed out to them?

Jeans - Lucky Brand
Oxfords - Geox
Tank - Ann Taylor
Blazer - Loft
Necklace - Forever 21

And I'm trying out a new photo location. Still using my iPhone, but at least the light is better? Thoughts and comments welcome, and thanks for looking!
