Yes, after all these years of working holidays in the bar business, it is ingrained in me to dress holiday festive. Cheesey? Probably, but I have a dorky side for sure.
I started by just wanting to wear my red jeans since it's spring but still in the 50's. Then I remembered the holiday and put on an ever so slightly greenish gray jacket, so as not to be obnoxiously over the top with it. I still am kinda over the top with my multi strand keyhole necklace (pic3), but hey, fun with fashion, right?!
I debated changing shoes, as they seemed sweet with an otherwise edgier hardware based look. But the color won out for me (and my toes wouldn't like sandals for another 10 degrees yet).
