WIW - Channeling Jeff Goldblum?

LOL? Am I thinking of the right actor?

Help me out - is this a hit, a miss or just meh? I started out with Angie’s graphic tee outfit formula and it turned into this. I should have taken pictures along the way. I started with a navy pinstripe blazer, grey graphic tee, ankle length skinnies and Cole Haan sneakers, which in my minds eye totally worked...but didn’t. Everything got swapped out in various iterations from there. Finally, I just had to leave the house and get to work!

Final results:
Ancient Gibson black riding jacket (I wish I could replicate this, talk about a workhorse), Uniqlo white tee, KUT from the Kluth boyfriend jeans worn full length rather than rolled (I’m short enough to get away with this!) and white Adidas sneakers.

Honest feedback, suggestions more than welcome!

Love this! I think you got it just right. It looks relaxed and polished—a vibe I love and that is difficult for me to pull off. You look terrific and this definitely deserves to be repeated!

I don’t see any Jeff or any other actor here, but I love this look. Can I just say that the unrolled jeans are looking really fresh to me right now? I put on straights yesterday and started with rolled cuffs and sneakers but ended up wearing my new Pikolinos boots instead to fill the gap. I think if I had left the sneakers on I would have unrolled the jeans.

Is that the jacket with the ruched sleeves? I had that! I wore mine to death too! It was a great jacket.

Thanks all - glad it was a hit rather than a miss. I think the sneakers, jeans and blazer felt a little...masculine? Tomboyish? Not sure either of those are the right word, and I’ve never considered myself particularly feminine in the way I dress. I guess it was just a little different from my norm.

Bijou, I just recently discovered Uniqlo. My husband has started buying his basic tees there and asked me to pick some up when I went to the mall recently. Naturally I had to take a look at options for me too!

Janet, YES! I had this in the short cobalt version and am nursing along the long black version. It really, really needs to go - it’s getting tired - but I’m so reluctant to do so until I have a replacement.

I like this! I have that jacket too and still love it but haven’t worn it as much in the last few years. This seems to be the year of the blazer though so it will be coming back out to play!

Not sure I get the Jeff Goldblum reference, but the outfit looks great! Sure, it's a little tomboyish as you said, but not in any odd way. You have such an overall feminine look anyways that it still looks polished.
