WIW - Challenge because I'm Lazy

Continuing my self-imposed challenges to ward off the unnecessary shopping urges (not that I've stopped - just am VERY focused and not purchasing much). After a couple weeks of Red/White/Blue and Gold I needed a break from those particular items. Similarly inspired by the lovely ladies who take time to match their handbags to their outfits (I rarely do) - from Angie to MaryK, Natalie, Shannon, Zap, and Rita to name a few. I decided to dress for my handbag, but I'm too lazy to change it often so I worked with the same one all week. No new purchases - all remixes of existing items.
1. The Bag - Tignanello (TJ Maxx)
2. Pattern mixing: Blouse Charles Grey snake print, Pants Kenneth Cole (slouchier 5lbs ago), Studded belt Esprit, Patent loafer heels Me Too, Tipped Jacket Ralph Lauren (consignment)
3. Continuation of no color - Black Pants Halogen, Blouse Sigrid Olsen (consignment), Jacket Necessary Objects, Wedges Kensie
4. JCrew button down, Atelier Luxe ponte pencil skirt, Olivia Moon Blazer, Naturalizer wedges
5. Talbot's dress (consignment), Gap ponte jacket, Michael Kors Patent belt, Ralph Lauren pumps
6. Needed some color (started with a black jacket and changed my mind) Jeans Kut, top Pleoine, Belt Esprit, Jacket Gap, Clark's sandals
Still debating if I'll change my bag next week or not. This was pretty easy. I do set aside the most probably pieces in a section of my closet for easy pickings (but never got it together enough to post in advance for MaryK's challenge.

You cheater. You only show us the bag with the final outfit. How do we know you weren't secretly swapping it for OTHER bags. ;-P

Seriously, though - great outfits, and the bag complimented each and every one of them beautifully. Love the tipped jacket in #2 and the hit of colour in the last pic is such a welcome surprise!

Great outfits! You look like you are having fun in your closet! I love them all but especially 3 and 4. The proportions are so perfect and I love the wedges. Pink blazer in 6 is fab on you too!

Gosh your legs are miles long even in flats!

I love numbers 2 and 6 for that reason, they show off those legs. The skirt and dress outfits do too, but in a different way (more shape focused vs. the pants outfits which are all about length). Where do you find those high waisted pants? I find they are not so easy to get.

Suz - trust me there is no bag switching (I am really that lazy and hate the bag switching task) I keep my bag downstairs but photo upstairs so rarely get the whole getup (that an usually the bag might not match)
Jayne - these are my favorite sandals EVER (thanks to Natalie I stalked them and found them for a decent price - $77 at the time, but they are worth every penny) - Clark's Woodward Willow

Denise - thank you so much for the compliment. Those black pants were a fluke find at end of season last year on the forgotten clearance rack at Lord & Taylor. My apple doesn't allow me to do real high rises, but the right midrise does some disguising for me. I find most things are too low or too high.

What a week. I love this challenge and the bag is gorgeous. My favorites are the last 2. What are you doing next week?

Zap - I haven't decided yet. I'm actually loving this bag again (I forgot I had it) so maybe keeping it going and adding more contrast or colors with it. I have a bunch of things to pick up at the drycleaners (that had been in my car for over a month) so it will be like a whole new wardrobe.
Alicat - I have bought a few things (had to get the Gap Academy blazer with my 40% off coupon and will post a few K/R later- but only items that are good quality AND good value AND on my short list of things I really want to add to my fall wardrobe.)

Creative challenge! It seems like the limitations you place on yourself are really inspiring some great ensembles! #2 and #6 are my favorites, (and they're the same proportions) but every day was a hit!

I love #6 so much I can't focus on the rest! WOW. K-word worthy. You look sensational in that shade of pink! And it's magical with the white.

Jeanne, that pink is one of my favorite shades (it looks soft in the picture) and Angie is right, it does look phenomenal on you. That said, I love all of the other neutrals that you wore this past week. It's fun to see all of your WIW's that kind of look like a 'collection' in the same color scheme. Really fun stuff you're doing. Kudos!

I love what you did with the pink Gap blazer. I am a blazer twin on that one but need to hunt in my closet for something patterned to pair with it. Those little touches of black really make the bag pop too.
