WIW - Casual outfits - graphic tees, and a hat

Here are some casual outfits from last weekend. I think I should have rolled the jeans in the first couple outfits. Oh well, next time...

#1/2 - graphic tee with jeans and olive jacket

#3 - Another graphic tee (it says "On the Road Again")

#4 - It was one of those days where the weather kept shifting from warm to sort of cool so I added the scarf for pattern and a little bit of cozy-ness.

#5 - We were in a hurry to get out the door so I threw on the hat instead of doing my hair. I don't really like the way I look in hats but they're so convenient for short hair since I can't just stick it in a ponytail if I don't have time to style it.

Love the "road" T and topper. And those rolled pants in 4 are great. Maybe all together?

I love the purple one best - and the one with the jacket second. I think the richer colors look better.

As for a hat, I would suggest that you try one with a wider brim. You have a narrow face & need width more than height, IMO.

You have a great summer casual uniform going on here. I want to play in your closet and dress you in the tee from 1 or 3, shorts from 5, jacket from one and shoes from 4. Does that make you dizzy?

Casual fun! I really love (and relate to) the "On the road again" tee. I would totally steal that from you. And I have a weird soft spot for madras shorts, so I like that look as well.

Annabelle - The shorts came from Target but I've had them forever (I think 9 years). They just keep getting softer and I like the pattern and length. The cargo pants are from J Crew a few years ago.

kirstjen - Thanks for the advice about a wider hat brim. I will keep that in mind this summer as a search for another hat.

Janet - The "On the road again" tank is from Old Navy this spring. It was originally too big on me but shrunk a lot the first time I washed it.

Thistle - The little guy is doing well. He's 1-1/2 now and so cute. I attached a photo from last weekend (cropped since he was actually naked - just out of our neighbor's pool and not dressed yet). He's starting to hit the terrible two's but is generally an easy baby. My middle child was NOT an easy baby (and isn't an especially easy kid - it's all drama all the time with that one) so this one seems mellow by comparison.

I hope your new little one is doing well and her skin problems are under control.
