Here's another try to make peace with my cardigans. This is the new navy layering shirt. I tried belting ove the cardigan like some of you suggested, but I like it better left open with the belt underneath. I hadn't used this belt in some time, but I still love it. Added the necklaces for some interest and to repeat the color of the belt elsewhere in the outfit.
Also added a bonus picture of yesterday's outdoor outfit. I went for a walk with a friend and because my three other pants that allow for tucking were on the laundry rack I had to wear the colored skinnies. I actually thought they looked great with the new coat, but this was only an option because I didn't have to take off my outerwear. I just can't get comfortable in these skinnies with shorter tops and I don't have a tunic or long cardigan to cover my behind when I wear them.
