I am disappointed with these photos, because they really do not capture the very rich, saturated tones of the blouse. It's my only remaining burgundy item, but it punches its weight, for sure, at least in terms of colour. It's one of those microsuede materials, which means it's quite stiff. I'm actually grateful for that, as it prevents the ballooning around the shoulders which is the bane of my existence. Or at least of my blouse-wearing.

What do you think of the skirt length? And the outfit in general, taking as a given that the colours of the blouse and scarf are more vibrant than they appear here, is it classic or is it veering toward old lady?

I actually wore it with my riding boots, as I walked to church and it was a wet day, and perhaps too cool for ballet flats anyway. I was too rushed to do pictures with coat and my new hat. That will come soon, because I have questions about the hat too.
