WIW - boots, bootcuts and boxy top

This is on the brink of being too much volume for my comfort zone of the past couple of years -- I've had this top for about two years and I've always worn it with narrow jeans. It's very light and flowy, so I think it looks better IRL. I love the colors in it -- I have at least five different jackets that all work with it, but I liked this the best for today.

Shown with top sleeves rolled & unrolled -- rolled adds more structure.

I can see why you like the top--beautiful print and colors.
I hear you on the volume thing, but it looks right for today's easy fits, the way I understand them. The pushed up sleeves and pointy boots help keep things in line, I think.

Oooooh. I like the blouse with the sleeves rolled down. More chic to my eye. And there is plenty of structure on the thighs of your jeans so not overly voluminous at all. Another gorgeous outfit from gorgeous Janet.

Glad little Tippi is feeling better (or was it Sophie with the sore leg and tumor?). It's awful when our pets are not well. xo

Thank you, Angie! I liked the sleeves down better too, so it's nice to hear your confirmation of that. I did want to get a pic both ways, so I'm glad for the feedback.

Thanks also for the good wishes for our little girls. Sophie has the tumor, and she seems to be enjoying a bit of an improvement of late -- we're very happy about that! Tippi had the scratched cornea, which seems better now. Now we're coping with poor Sunny, the ranch dog -- she got kicked by a cow and has a broken leg! Poor Sunny bunny.

Just saw that top at the consignment store. The colors are beautiful!

This does not look like too much volume! But I know what you mean about feeling that. I am still not back to bootcuts and now that it's winter they are probably staying unworn...

Right now Sunny's in a great boarding place with the vet who is tending her. Poor girl just wants to run and play, but she can't do that very well, so sometimes in her frustration, she just howls. She's still very much a puppy, only 10 months old, so it's really hard to satisfy her need for activity with a cast on her leg! Jamie goes back to the ranch next week since we won't be going to the World Series after all. At least when he's there, she can ride around in the truck with him, but she needs to stay away from the cattle for a while yet. Here she is in the truck, poor baby.
