WIW - bootcuts and new turtleneck (+haircut)

I wore the new turtleneck today - nice! Sadly that didn't prevent me from getting a sore throat and a cough. Keep your fingers crossed this doesn't get worse.

Also got my hair cut - he took some length off, kept the layers and also put in some highlights. You can't really see them because they are only slightly lighter than my natural haircolor, but I feel like they give some depth. I was afraid they would be too obvious, so I'm pleased! What do you think about the length? Should I keep shortening it to this or should I go longer?

Your cut looks great, and the color very natural! I like the length a lot; it looks so much lighter (the weight of it, not the color). That's a beautiful turtleneck, too. I love the fit and color.

I love the turtleneck and jeans combo, but prefer your hair right around shoulder length or just a bit above.

I was trying to figure out what was different and it is the hair. It looks great. You have beautiful features and I think the shorter cut adds emphasis.

The t-neck looks nice too.

It could be just the way your hair is styled at home vs. the salon, but I like it better in these posts. It has a nice swing and body to it, whereas above it's a bit triangular. Perhaps show a picture of your hair tomorrow?

Hope your throat will not get worse, Astrid! Love your new cut and color! Are you constantly tweaking your cuts now? I won't get it any shorter than that in front, but what about an angled shorter back, like the one Firecracker has it? Just an ideea:-)

Your hair looks fabulous Astrid - I really like that length and although the highlights are indeed subtle, your hair has a bit more dimension. Very lovely.

Thanks everyone! I'm not feeling all that well, but it's not much worse than yesterday either so I hope I will be better soon. Sorry for the loungewear pics without tripod, but I thought I'd show you some better pictures of the cut. It's definitely not as triangular looking as it seems to be in the pics above, in fact he didn't change much and just went shorter overall. My hair isn't styled at all and I spend more or less the whole day in bed, so I'm looking a bit rumpled. Sorry...

@Lyn, I hadn't planned on changing things up all the time, but I'm not quite sure yet what I want to go with. And of course I don't have the money to go for a cut every few weeks, so there will always be a bit of difference in between. I don't think I want to go shorter in the back again, I've just grown that out because I didn't like it much. I prefer the look now, with layers overall and some shorter strands in the front.

I think your hair looks really good Astrid. The new turtle neck looks fab on. It has a lovely relaxed fit to it and looks so good with the wide belt and bootcuts.

Great sweater, I love the comfy fluid fit (I need to update my turtlenecks to something similar!). The hair cut looks cute. I think both lengths work nicely for you but have a slight preference for the longer look if you had this type of layering with it.
