Here are couple outfits from over the weekend and a couple work outfits.
Long story - I went to the mall on Saturday to exchange a beautiful lace dress my husband gave me for Christmas. It fit perfectly but I decided it was for a fantasy lifestyle as I have no where to wear something so fancy. There was a bomb threat at the mall while I was there exchanging the dress and buying the burgundy skirt in #2. The police cordoned off a large chunk of the parking lot because a guy said he had grenades and a bomb in his car. I got stuck at the mall because my car was parked near the bomb threat car. DH finally came to pick me up and we went back later for my car after the situation was over. No bomb was found, just toy grenades. I don't understand why someone would lie to the police about a bomb but was glad the situation was resolved with no injuries.
#1 - Sweater and jeans to take the kids to the Natural History Museum to look at dinosaur bones. The kids gave me the necklace and charms for Christmas.
#2 - Skirt from Kohl's that got me stuck at the mall
#3 - I wanted something professional and not fussy. I love the color of this thrifted sweater.
#4 - This outfit is more ALGO than I generally wear, but I like this warm, cozy look.
