Wednesday 6 June was the once in 130 year transit of Venus across the sun - too much cloud in Auckland so won't be writing about it in my memoirs.
Although it is wet and windy and very dark it's not particularly cold. Despite that I wrapped up warm with a scarf and coat just in case the temperature dropped in the late afternoon. Here is what I wore to work remembering my rubric - which definitely worked for me through Summer but I haven't really dusted off for Winter
The Rubric:
Contrast -bright winter colours or large patterns near my face & darker colours obscuring the nether regions
Romantic - floaty, body skimming, boho, embroidery, silk, chiffon
Pretty/Sparkly- big earrings, cuffs, pendants -some type of bling.
- Black maxi skirt worn as midi (Jacqui E)
- Chiffon red/black empire line top (Jay Jays)
- Black Boots (Zierra)
- Multi Coat ( Caroline Eve)
- Cream Scarf (Rubi)
