WIW - Blue x 3 (tunic, tops, shoes)

#1 - I got this tunic at a clothing swap at the beginning of the summer and it only wore it once or twice before it got too warm. The weather is slightly cooler (although it's back in the 80's this week) so it's back in rotation.

#2 - I love this new blue top. I haven't worn this skirt much lately but seemed to go with the blue top.

#3 - I picked up this silk shirt at the thrift store last weekend. My sister says I have a tendency towards "granny chic". Is this too granny?

Great outfits. The tunic (in #1) is interesting -- I love the print. You look stunning in the cobalt blue top (#2) -- a very pretty ensemble. The last outfit (#3) is terrific... not at all granny, but certainly chic. The silk top has a lovely pattern. I like that you have paired it with those fab blue ankle strap shoes.

I like outfits 1 & 2, they are perfect! As for the shirt in 3, I can see how it can be polarizing. It fits you really well, especially at the waist so you should keep it! But I feel like what this shirt needs is to be tucked into a cream skirt or pants and then it'll look really perfect. Does this make any sense?

I like all three looks! I don't see the shirt in #3 as granny at all and I like the print on the tunic in #1.

All outfits are very nice, no granny at all. I love your cobalt blue top and adore blu shoes so did you try that shoes with skirt and blue top just suggestion.

I love your description of "granny chic". I'm a volunteer at a nonprofit that runs a thrift store. Sometimes I'd look at something, and my friend would say, "My mother would wear that," and I'd put it back. Her mother has since died, but she was well into her 90s. I have to fight to keep from falling back into styles from 20 or 30 years ago. That's probably the best part of YLF - you guys, including Angie, forcing me to stay current. Otherwise, who knows what I'd be wearing?

I would have gone for the granny top also - but I do love a great retro pattern. You are wearing it in a very current way and I think it looks fab!

Mirjana - I did try the blue top and skirt with the blue shoes but it didn't look right. I think it was the combination of flats with an ankle strap with the midi length skirt. I liked it much better with the nude pumps.

Peacechick - I like the idea of pairing the printed blouse with cream bottoms but I only have white bottoms which might not look as good. I'll have to experiment.
