Here are a few recent outfits, both casual and work related.

#1/2 - Casual outfit for a casual dinner out. Bonus pic of my kids (ages 7 and 5). They love to take pictures with me but it's usually in the morning before work and they are in their pajamas and look half asleep. They're actually dressed and smiling here!

#3/4 - Casual Friday at work. I hope the necklace was enough to perk up these bland neutrals.

#5/6 - I love the color of this top and feel very summery in this outfit.

Great casual outfit in #1 Sara and your boys are adorable. I don't find #2 bland at all. I like how the necklace picks up the light color in your shoes. And you look gorgeous in the color combination of outfit #3.

I really like olive and black together. Nothing bland there to me. And I just learned olive is a neutral!

I like all of these on you, but my favorite is 5/6, I love the cobalt blue on you and it looks so fresh paired with the white. YLF!

I like 3 and 4. The necklace and flats play very nicely together; it's a simple outfit but those two pieces totally elevate!

And the blue color is gorgeous on you.

Love both of the blue tones on you and there is nothing wrong with the neutral outfit as I think your shoes and necklace lift it nicely. They are all lovely summery outfits. And your kids are great! Hi to Domino too

Thanks, everyone! I'm glad that you guys agree that the shoes and necklace elevate that outfit above boring. Maybe I just feel bored with my clothes since I have so few and I'm used to having a more varied closet.

Yes, I'm very glad that Domino is feeling better too although it took longer for her to recover than I initially thought. I kept thinking there was something wrong with the automatic feeder because there was always food in it. It finally dawned on me it wasn't the feeder, it was that she wasn't finishing her food.

#1 - Gorgeous periwinkle blue top, beautiful neckline and those fab white shorts. The sandals are a perfect, perfect finishing touch, their detailing elevating already fab outfit by a few notches.

#2 - Such beautiful boys.

#3/4 - These bland neutrals as you call them look like a perfect backdrop for both the necklace and your shoes. So elegant. And kitty matches your outfit beautifully

Natalie - the baby is a boy. Which I find really amusing. I just never imagined myself with 3 boys. I wasn't dying for a girl or anything but many years ago when I imagined myself with 3 kids, I just never thought I would have 3 of the same gender (boy or girl). Anyway, good thing I like little boys!
