I've had some colorful weeks but I seem to default to black more often than not.
#1 - I wanted to wear this skirt with a white top to look less wintery but none of my summer white blouses worked. All are too long and I even tried tucking them in. Instead of highlighting my waist, that just seemed to showcase how straight I am. Ended up with black top because it was shorter than any of the white ones.
#2 - Black dress with red heels. I got this idea from Viva (I think? I can't go back and check now or I'll lose this post) and wanted to try it. These red sandals aren't my favorite. I liked the low block heel when I bought them but somehow they feel slightly dowdy to me.
#3 - Casual Friday outfit - work and brewery with friends. I've had this cargo skirt forever but it got lost in the back of my closet for most of this summer. Black crochet top and big necklace.
#4 - My instinct was to wear black sandals to bookend the black top but I really wanted to wear the loafer mules. I'm not sure the outfit is as well-balanced as it would have looked with black.
Thanks for looking and any comments/suggestions are more than welcome.
