As part of my unintended style renewal, which started after I got my hair chopped and let the grey grow in, I find my taste in bags also changing.

#1-2 A trusty favorite, which is very useful for errands, represents my typical style in the past. Basically a big leather unstructured hobo with minimal hardware.

#3-4 I thrifted this red bag based on the bright red color and fancy Italian name (Fontanelli) but I had not thought of keeping it for myself until recently. Not sure if I am going too far to the other extreme trying to wear this.

#5-6 This is sort of an in between bag - neater than the first one but still somewhat slouchy. I bought this for myself with consignment credit. (Israeli designer Daniella Lehavi)

#7-8 This bone colored bag was also thrifted but not necessarily for me to keep. Then Angie posted the Kate Spade bag http://youlookfab.com/store/20.....tle-minka/
and I saw it in a new light. Not sure about this one. (Jane Shilton)

I feel like I am over accumulating bags because I can't decide which ones to let go, which did not used to be so difficult. Any thoughts or suggestions about the bags or my outfits very welcome!

OMG, I can hardly look past your fabulous FOOTWEAR!! I want every one of your sandals. I have to come shopping with you in Israel. Even though I know you got some from America.

Okay. The outfits. This is SO interesting, and it makes total sense to me. The longer hair, not only made it clear you were a girl, so a RATE bag was no big deal, but also helped to balance the large size of the bag. And I really think you are onto something with these new bags, so providing they still fit your actual, practical needs, I think they're all absolute winners!

Love the outfit with the red (those shoes!) -- it feels very Parisian chic.

The blue one, as you say, strikes a perfect middle ground.

And the lighter one is both fresh and textured -- what could be better?

Keep them all.

As for your hair, it looks glorious. It's coming in beautifully and is really going to suit you.

In full agreement with Suz. Your shoes are awesome. And you're right; bags are confounding. I do like the last, white, one quite a lot. The others are nice, too. It would be great to just have three perfect bags, wouldn't it? Easier said than done.

Well I'm a total bag lady so say keep all of them! Seriously Shevia, they all work with your style and provide you many options. Personally I enjoy changing out my bag according to my outfit - it can change the whole vibe of what I'm wearing. I think these are all brilliant.

LOVE every single one of these outfits too. I particularly love #3-4 and #7-8. And what are those shoes in #3-4? LOVE THEM!

I also think your hair looks stunning at this length.

All of your outfits are fabulous. You have the minimal, chic style nailed down so well. I like all of the bags, but my favourites of the new ones are the red and the bone. I have a soft spot for a red bag because it works with so many colours and often adds just a little something extra to an outfit. And the bone one is a fabulous design. I love it worn cross body as you've shown here.

I agree with shedev that the first bag is looking just a tad overwhelming for you, but it can also be really handy to have one of these oversized bags, so I would keep. I think all of these warrant a place in your wardrobe because they each work with your style but have different vibes. The variation in color and shape is nice, and rotating bags prevents one from taking all the wear and year and helps your bags last longer.

Okay, back to your questions. At the risk of sounding like it's a cop-out - you wear ALL the bags extremely well! Here are my thoughts:

#2 - the "Shevia" look. KEEP!

#4 - injecting a bit of refinement and I'm loving it too. KEEP.

#5 - a simple basic that has its place. KEEP

#7 - lots of personality! KEEP

I like matching bags with footwear - not in every outfit, but I definitely do a lot of it.

The new curly short 'do is growing into a nice shape! xo

Thank you for all your wonderful, supportive comments. I am especially delighted that the bone bag got a go - I really kept going back and forth on it and was driving myself crazy.

Angie - When I looked at the pictures I thought that I should have worn the bone shoes with the bone bag and the grey shoes with the bluish bag - point well taken! I'm with the others in not loving the first bag. It overwhelms your frame. It's like you are the bag's accessory in that second pic. Although it could be advantageous to have a purse so big it could double as a sleeping bag.

The other bags look great to me. And they are all so different. Different colors, different shapes. I see nothing wrong with keeping all the others.

I wear cross body bags all the time but what you've got going on with 7-8 is what I'm dreaming to achieve! You make it look like a choice and not utility.
