I thought it was fun that Angie mentioned in a recent post that mermaid style was a fringe trend, as when I recently purchased this silk dress, DH commented that it was a mermaid dress!

I have worn this three times since purchasing it earlier this month - to a friend's birthday party and out to dinner with friends. The items in Finds is what I wore to the cocktail party. I was debating on whether to wear my silvery glitter heels, but decided against it, as I knew I would be on my feet for hours and decided to wear the boots instead. I was glad I took the practical choice as the seating was limited at the party.

 Whilst it is dressy, I have found that I can dress it down with my denim jacket.

This dress will be how I enjoy and wear the fringe mermaid trend.
