MOST unusual for me to be wearing designer clothing.
This dress is a handed down item (new for me - I have just been given a bunch but I'll spread out showing them all to you). It is 100% wool - I think it might be called boiled wool.
I know design details are hard to show in black so you are basically looking at the silhouette - The bodice is princess seamed with a few gathers under the waist on each side.
DDs not impressed but I kind of like it
