WIW - another top to wear with the full plaid skirt

I'm still at home with a cold, so this is not from today. But I saw that I hadn't posted it yet, so here it is. Maybe you remember that I said I had a hard time finding ways to wear this skirt. So here's another one. I bought this cardigan together with a navy one a month ago and I really enjoyed wearing it with this skirt, even though the length of the cardi in fact works better with pants. Do you think it looks alright?

Oooh; I kind of like it. It's got that comfy slouchy vibe, and it's a nice contrast to the "stricter" structure of the skirt! And grey and plaid is always so pretty (as are you!)

Cute! As another option, you could try tucking the cardigan in as if it was a top.

Ah, okay. I do have three longsleeved ones, but two are plaid. I think plaid on plaid like that might be a bit much. The solid colored one doesn't go that well with it color wise.

I'm really liking the look of a buttoned cardi. The slouchy feel is great paired with the fun shirt. You look wonderful Astrid!

The plaid on plaid might be a bit much. Unless you were my dad : )

Pil, I agree. I might try it for amusemt's sake... Aida, I like the pic you linked to, but I think these two plaids go together, they both have the same dimensions and the colors fit together. Mine wouldn't look that way!

I like this on you. You know you could try popping a belt over the cardi too, or maybe over the join between cardi and skirt if you tucked it. Great colours on you. BTW and it's your fault that I hanker after a plaid skirt for next Autumn

I think it definitely works, Astrid. It's slouchy but not in an oversized way. Looks great!

Astrid, I think it works really well. The cardigan is a bit unstructured and it goes really well with the straight lines of the plaid.
