How cool! And it fits in perfectly with your sophisticated rock and roll style aims.

Perfect!! That is the perfect artist jacket. Not corporate but still professional. Love the way you styled it with the flowing blouse and new trousers.

SO awesome! Love everything about this. Fab new jacket

Holy Cow !!! This is a 10. Just ah-mazing Janet !

Killer to the power of Killer

So fun to have been there with you when you tried it on. Where is the fun white clutch?

That is so fun! So that is your shirt showing? I'd go for a bright color! Can you do skin...like just a tank underneath? Curious.

Angie, thank you! A KTTPOK! White clutch stayed home today (needed hands for carrying stuff to studio), but may have to come out to play tomorrow!

Peri, yes, the white showing through is my shirt. I can see wearing this with all kinds of tops -- I tried it on with my emerald watercolor plaid Equipment blouse, a metallic pewter blouse, the coral silk shirt I wore yesterday, royal blue, white, patterned black and white…and I think they all worked!

Also, while we were shopping at the very last stop of the night (Elie Tahari, the site of Suz's Amazing Taupe Suit), I found a gorgeous silk multicolored tank (in shades of bright blue and turquoise) that I tried on underneath this jacket -- it looked really nice, proving that this jacket will work with tanks and bare skin showing on my arms through the cutout sleeves. I have lots of options with this jacket! I'd been keeping an eye out for a new black blazer, and even though this isn't what I imagined, it's even better.

I'm excited for the white clutch debut, Janet.

And a cobalt tank will look stunning under the black jacket too. xo

That jacket is to die for! SO JANET! Love the whole outfit too. Great purchase!

Wow, & fan - tas - tic!!!!

Gorgeous! I love the whole thing!

I wasn't around when you tried on this jacket, but it looks great! And it works really well with the flares, too.

Beautiful Janet!
That blazer is a stand-out for sure- absolutely love the way the cut-out feature reveals your under layer and breaks up the dark colour.

Everything works soooo well together in this outfit, you knocked me off my chair! And that blazer, how cool is that? Hope all went well tonight!

You look fabulous for your event! That blazer is all sorts of awesomeness!

*plonk* ... I want that jacket!

Wow!! Wow!! that jacket just took my breath away!! You lucky girl!

Cuts in the jacket are great and I love the jeans!!

Flares are your friend - love the quirky jacket.

Amazing! What strikes me though is how your natural beauty stands out -- even more than I noticed before -- it's not news, but reinforces that it's the person that wears the (right) clothes, not the other way round.

I saw a slit sleeve jacket from Ann Demeulemeester I think. This is perfect for your artistic profession. I'm sure you were the center of attention at your event.

Wow! love the jacket and the flares!

Wow for the use of those fab flares, Janet! And PLONK, for the new jacket! At least, I was able to "see it first" here on the YLF, Michelle Adam's FashionTV is like lagging afterwards..:-)
