I'm cheating a bit. The art museum was in Montreal a couple of weeks ago. I had arranged to meet a friend during her lunch break, and on the way there saw the ads in the metro for the Impressionist exhibit. I was so excited when she told me it was a great exhibit and that the museum was very close. I had been planning on finding something to do downtown for the afternoon, and this was perfect.
And I felt fabulous too. By pure chance, I was wearing my Van Gogh scarf, which was about as appropriate as one could possibly get. By the way, an art museum is a great place not only to see art, but to see a lot of wonderfully dressed women. Talk about taste! And it was so nice not to feel out of place.
I plan on feeling fabulous now too. I'm going to pull on my riding boots and head out to do errands. With a coat over top, unfortunately; it's a very crisp day here. Yes, I know that the jeans are starting to bag in the thighs, but I have spent so much on replacing clothes this year. They will just have to do a bit longer.
One of the errands is returning some clothes I actually love. But I don't need them, I won't be able to wear them very often, and my clothing budget is best spent on something I will get more use out of. *sigh*
Bonus, a bad shot of the new black knit jacket, styled with a scarf as requested... ;o)
