WIW - all new from head to toe

I normally love OBG, but I realised this morning that I was wearing only items that I bought this year. Took some quick pics at work, so no true WIW photographs, sorry.

Finally got used to my new specs (Viu Eyewear) and really like them! They're fun and I love the color. Also wearing my favourite new knit pullover (Eribé), lovely new high waist skinny jeans (Kings of Indigo) and the black shoes I bought in spring (Think, they also work great with a dress or skirt). Plus my new little crossbody bag for my phone which I now wear constantly at work so that the Corona App might have a chance of working.

Quick elevator pic on the way home shows my Seasalt Plant Hunter Coat (same coat as in Angie's recent blog post) and my trusty Cashmere scarf from Scotland. I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow - I can't wait!

Love the short pixie and they way the color of the glasses plays off the color of your hair
and some days its funny to look down and realize your wearing all new, or all old....

Thanks Robin! Yes, I find the jeans very versatile, they worked well in summer but are also nice right now and don’t look out of place with my winter wardrobe.

Thanks Angie! I like Seasalt too. They’re good with measurements, I never had to return anything and the quality is great. I also bought a plaid Seasalt dress in spring, plus a breezy skirt and some midweight cotton/linen mix culottes. I wore those a lot already this year.

Thanks kkards! I’ll try to finally figure out a good place to take pictures in my current flat, maybe that will get me posting again. I do miss participating regularly, but somehow fashion has become a bit of an afterthought these last few years...

Thanks! Got the scarf (or better a stole, it’s big) while travelling in Scotland in 2014. It was a real steal, around 25£ for a scarf that costs around 500€ when you buy it new right now.

Every single piece you're wearing is so fun! I love how your glasses pick up the reds in the sweater *and* the shoelaces. Feels very playful and pulled-together at the same time.

Picture #1 is gorgeous - your new specs are perfect on you and just so fabulous with your new sweater. Like La Ped, I noticed the small details that tie this together which are very stylish in their subtlety .

Ha, thanks Cee! I basically have to wear the mask constantly when I’m not at home (on public transport and at work, if I’m not alone in my office), so I kind of got used to it.

Thanks Lyn - no color in my hair, that's my natural hair color which can look quite different depending on the lighting. I haven't showered yet and had it blowdried, which is never the best for my hair, but I took a quick selfie where you can see how short it is. After I cut of all of it myself with the clippers in spring I got a taste for the super short look. Right now I prefer having my ears free when wearing both mask and specs. He did the sides and the back with 12mm length, the top was cut with scissors. Not easy to take a picture off, but he has a good eye for length and shape.

Guess I should do more than think about Think! boots. I’ve never tried them in. Maybe all my admiring and planning is in vain. Right now I’m just glad I get to wear my favorite boots again—the black combat boots that went into hiding for over a decade. Now is their time to shine

FashIntern, are you still living in Berlin? If yes it’s easy to just try those boots in the store. Maybe you have more luck than me and they fit...

Thanks Janet - yes, these are my colours! When I saw it I just had to buy it even though it wasn’t exactly *cough* cheap. But I don’t think I’ve seen a fair isle color combination fitting so well with my coloring and my wardrobe before.

BTW - I feel the same way about blow-dry - my fine and short hair look better without it.

Thanks Sally. And yes, feels like it was a lifetime ago! I completed my photoalbum from that trip a few weeks ago and I really want to visit again when this is all over and we can travel again.

Here the numbers have been going up in the last few weeks, we're in the middle of a second wave. We're now having what they call "lockdown light" for the rest of November. My workplace is still open to the public though, not like in March and April. That might change though, who knows. We're still going to see a rise of people in hospital until the end of November, that's for sure, but I really hope that this month breaks the trend somewhat.
