Wearing this today to pick up my sister from the airport — so happy she is coming to visit!

I am enjoying the way red is trending — it’s not a huge part of my style, but I enjoy it when I find just the right item. I’ve had this bag for probably ten years, when larger clutches were trending hard, and so was that “pony” fur effect. It never had a shoulder strap though, so its use for me was limited. A year or so ago, I had my cobbler add small leather loops inside the flap so I can attach a crossbody strap to it, and the beloved bag has new life! I always liked the plaid and the size so it’s great to have a more workable bag.

The pants are finally getting debuted. I got these from Zadig & Voltaire in Paris in August, on a very good sale! The top is a very old Rag & Bone marled black and white lightweight sweater. Black platform sneakers and denim jacket finish off a very casual outfit that, once again, gives me a nice alternative to jeans every day. I love the side stripe on the pants — a detail I’m always attracted to, but fit is super important — many pants are a bit narrow on me and the side stripe goes wonky over my hips, which really kind of ruins the effect, LOL.

Bonus — two of my “real camera” photos from the trip I just took to southern Utah. Fall in the desert is spectacular! First photo is Bryce Canyon, and the second is along scenic Route 12 near Torrey, UT.
