Dear YLF

Because of Angie's post on 2016 favorites I noticed that I didn't take many outfit pictures during the year. I will endeavor to take more pictures in 2017 and to have more fun with fashion.
For today I just wanted to share an outfit with a vintage statement skirt . This skirt has been making me smile for the 15+ years that I have it.
I styled with with a simple turtleneck and booties.

Ah, what I call a lifetime keeper! How lucky does it make you feel to have that in your closet?

That striped breton shirt (or what looks like one, anyway) in the background of your photo is calling out - I wonder how that would look in this outfit instead of the black t-neck? Some creative pattern mixing, and a more casual look, for sure, but couldn't that look cute?

Lovely outfit. I actually have vintage chequered skirt from my mum, which I occasionally bring out to play with and style in this very way. You've inspired me to do it again soon.
