WIW - a few photos from Summer

Hi all. This Summer just flew by and while I took some outfit photos, I didn't really have time to post them. Summer is not my idea of exciting WIWs due to the hot and humid weather, plus I really haven't purchased anything new and am waiting patiently for the cooler months ahead.

Most of the these items have been worn throughout the summer.

1. Ebay dress from Nordstom - worn at an evening event.
2. LOFT top/bottoms - worn to work. Top is a little too big for a size small.
3. Anthro jacket / Nordstrom skirt - workwear
4. Nordstrom top / Zara shoes / LOFT pants
5. Madewell jumper sundress / BR outlet tank - which I've worn all summer and wore it to death.
6. SEE distance sunglasses - my pricey purchase for the year
7. Macy's dress
8. LOFT top and Zara skirt
9. Nine West chevron dress
10. Anthro top

A super selection. I particularly like 2 and you look great in red! They are all super looks.

I just love you in #5, 7, 8, 9. You wear those little retro frocks to perfection, Naz. Fabulous signature style.

The colour of #1 is sublime on you. KILLER STUNNING.

Number 1, 4, and 10. Number 1 for the amazing on you color but also for the complete style shakeup AND love your hair in that one,4 and 10 because while they are somewhat retro they're very "now" too which looks fresh.

Wow, you have such great style--classy, ladylike, a little retro. All of these outfits look fantastic on you. I especially like your dresses and skirts, and your new sunglasses are so chic. You have a fun red-carpet pose in 1, and a stunning look to go with it!

#1 is my all-time favorite outfit on you. That shade of red is gorgeous on you. Other favs are the chevron dresses in 7 and 9. These are all wonderful summer looks.

Jane - Thanks about #2 which wasn't my favorite but I do adore the top. Unfortunately, the flutter sleeve is a little big. I still have a good month or 2 to wear it in a casual way.

UmmLila - Thanks about the red. I go through these weirs spurts of wearing one color and right now red is it. I want red shoes and red top but can't seem to find anything I like.

Angie - Thank you about my dresses. It's funny how I find modern day dresses that look retro. I mean that's a good thing for me. Almost all my dresses I've worn are about 1-2 years old.

Isabel - Those are my faves too. I wore my skinnies quite a lot, second to all my dresses and skirts. I'm glad my retro feels more now. I would hate to look too retro/too costume-y if you know what I mean.

Joy, Rachylou - Gotta love a good red. Believe me, not all reds look good on me. I prefer a cooler tone of red.

skylurker - Believe me, it's hard to have a style in a very conservative workplace (think government blah) but somehow I make do.

Thanks all for your input. I hope to post more once the weather gets cooler. I've had my eye out on a few Fall/Winter items on Zara and Anthro so look for more updates.
