First I would like to apologize for being absent from YLF for over a week. I was very busy last weekend with a dance competition I helped organize - lots of dressier/more formal outfits there ( no denim too) that I will post some time next week. Then this whole work week was absolute mess and my computer was/is broken - sometimes it works and sometimes not.

Like Aida, I have also decided to try and go through a whole week without denim. This was pretty hard as I wear denim almost exclusively to work - we are not allowed to wear skirts, dresses, cropped pants etc. Also, when I wear non-denim pants, I almost always wear some denim on top - shirt, vest or jacket. Non-work outfits were much easier. I have also included two outfits that I will be wearing tomorrow to round up the week. And believe it or not, I am considering doing this for one more week so please feel free to join me if you want.

#1: Monday work outfit - went for casual with a bit of edge. The pants are tiny charcoal/back micro check that does not photograph well.

#2: Tuesday work outfit - similar idea to #1, but softer. The pants are micro stripe here that is also not that visible in the photos.

#3: Wednesday work outfit - felt like dressing up more for a change. This was the first time I wore my Columnist pants.

#4-7: Wednesday dinner out with BF. Used to opportunity to debut my wine Aerosoles shoes/booties that I scored on ridiculous sale in February.

#8: Thursday work outfit - my fallback formula of tunic and skinnies with skinny pants instead of usual jeans.

#9: Friday work outfit - needed some color to cheer myself up. Mustered the courage to wear the bright green blazer to work.

#11/12: Today's outfit to meet up with BF
