WiW - 10/21 - My New Watch! - YouLookFab Forum

So, Friday, the UPS man came with the package that was marked by UPS as delivered on Tuesday - the package that I reported lost to Nordstrom. Ugh! I spent another 45 minutes working with Nordstrom to try to get this cleared up, and I can almost guarantee it isn't over yet!

Also, adjusted my UGGs buckle at the calf and discovered I actually have a bit of room. yeah!! Its a high of 40 degrees today, so toasty feet in slipper like comfort are welcome, especially with my sore and still badly bruised ankle.

DD was running a fever all weekend and still had one this morning, so DH is home with her. Rough morning, but I feel like I still managed to put together a decent outfit. I added a neckalce DH bought for me for the happiness factor and to mirror the gold in the watch.

Not really sure all this burgundy works together. Perhaps a black pencil skirt would have been better . . .

Lovely Fall outfit, Thistle. The morning stress is not at all apparent in your pic. You look fabulously pulled together. Sorry that you have had a rough couple of days. Hope that DD gets better soon and that your week improves. Glad your watch arrived.

Wow! Hope things calm down.
I think the outfit is swell. I think either color skirt should work great with that top, as you get flattering "thirds" either way. Monochrome top 2/3 with the burgundy vs bottom 2/3 with a black skirt. I really like the subtle print in that top.

I think the color is fine. Glad the package showed up and I am sure if you write refused on the second box it will go back to Nordstrom.

You look great! I don't mind the all-burgundy but the black boots with the all-burgundy are throwing me off a little. Maybe add a black belt or black scarf for a little bookending action? Even some chunky black beads.

The watch, from what I can see of it, is fab!

Liz- I am aking a break ont he boto search. I was hoping to find a dressier pair similar to my others, but I was out of luck at the moment. I am going to try the water trick on the Tyrn Rose's once DD is feeling better. I am also contemplating a pair of lace up ones like Diana mentioned, I am just not sure I can find them dressy enough for work.
