Hi all!

I am so sorry, I have been absent for a while. Life is busy right now. I got married on August 5th and I finally have some pictures to share of what I wore!

We had a small 40 guest "dinner party" wedding and it turned out very well. Everything was done on a tight budget (and planned 100% by me!) and I was so pleased with the outcome.

A few lessons I learned...
- Everything will not be perfect
- Don't hire the cheapest photographer
- Don't buy the first dress you see
- Do have a hair and make-up trial (I opted against a trial to save money)

I wasn't WOWed by my photographer, hair and make-up, and dress and would have done things differently had I done a bit more research or shopped around more. Oh well! I'm happy nonetheless and even happier that it's all behind us now!

I don't care what you say but that dress is GORGEOUS and Elegant and you looked fab. sorry you didn't feel the same way. I do agree about photographers: don't go cheap.

Oh Marianna, you look STUNNING! I think your make-up looks beautiful - it brings out your beautiful eyes - and your up-do is elegant. Your bouquet is gorgeous - I think red roses are just so elegant and chic. Love that amazing wedding cake!!! And your dress really is beautiful.

A wedding is so stressful, isn't it? I think the idea that this well be the most perfect day in the world is so unfair because it puts so much pressure on everything. The most important thing is that you are MARRIED! Everything else is just icing on the cake. Thanks for sharing your wonderful day!

I think the day is so stressful that we truly don't see things clearly - when you look back at these photographs you are going to realize how utterly stunning you look!

You were a vision, Marianna. Did your husband's jaw drop?

Like I told you earlier this summer, you can do everything "wrong" and it will still be wonderful. There's no evidence in these photos that you did anything wrong, though. I'm a big fan of the small wedding where the bride is not exhausted and frazzled from a year of fretting over ten million details. High five on pulling it off beautifully!
