Sorry I'm late to respond, my day off ended up being not really a day off.
Rachylou -- I guess outfit one is photographing as black and white! The colors are actually a blue black pant and the top is gray with a hint of lavender. Check out the finds picture which represents the Three Dots top color.
AJ -- Thanks, no fountain of youth, my secret is to take extra pics and select the best! Also to use flash. It whites-out the sun damage and wrinkles. O_o
Dee -- I've never thought of myself as a classic dresser but think that with age, that's where I'm going.
Maneera -- You are right the Three Dots top actually matches the bag and shoes very well. (I'm in heaven.) The top was becoming an orphan and it got rescued just in time.
Deb -- Thanks for affirming that the colors work. It's been a long journey for me to figure out what colors to embrace, which ones to stay away from (blaaaaack.....)
Shevia -- The first outfit is more dressy so yes I could go out to dinner in it, where I live! My SO kept saying how nice I looked, which made me feel great. I suspect he likes the polished side of CocoLion.
Firecracker / Sharan -- You are right I have a more polished "city" style and wear it whenever I leave our hill.
Anna -- Wonderful to hear from you. And so there is another mule fan on YLF... off to check your posts.
Lyn67 -- Thanks for noticing the cropped lengths. I have obsessed over the length (did I already mention that? pour another glass of wine Denise). I have found that my sweet spot is anywhere from 23.5 to 25.5" length in inseam, when it comes to cropped pants. Ankle pants are right at 27". I recommend to everyone to memorize your PPL and take your orphan skinnies and get them shortened. Most likely they will look like cropped straights, because by cutting them mid-calf they are wider. I think to get the truly tapered skinnny crop you either need to do some additional tailoring or buy them new.
JJsloane -- Lovely to hear from you, you are very sweet to comment on my backdrops.
Kellygirl -- Always a treat to see you comment, one of these days I will meet the real Kelly...
Janet -- I agree you can wear both but I think I've seen you more in cool tones? I'm going to start paying more attention.
Thinkkellgirl -- Wow did you mention me and Jennifer Anniston in the same sentence?!? I think she is a classic warm toned gal, she is amazing I agree, Brad chose the wrong woman. That's how I feel about it.
Ledonna -- Waving back! So now you need to post a WIW, how about it?
