Well, not blue in mood. Blue in color! The first two outfits are casual MOTG / Teaching students at home ensemble. The final one is built around a new skirt I found in a boutique. I still feel like I'm casting about for a style persona, and I'm not fully satisfied, but each outfit has something to make me smile
1. A sheer tunic for a hot day! Very casual.
Tunic: Eddie Bauer outlet (last year)
Bermudas: Lee's from Kohls (not sure that I don't like my denim skimmers better)
Metallic wedges -- Payless, last year
2. Another hot day -- I wore this sleeveless, surplice cotton knit dress without the wrap at home. The "wrap" let me me teach, and go to a casual lunch feeling more polish. This silhouette isn't very "new," my feeling is that I can keep wearing it, but maybe look for new formulas for the future. Thoughts?
Dress: JCP, last year
Wrap Cardi -- Old
Metallic wedges
3/4 I found this skirt at a boutique in Zionsville, Indiana. I love the midi length and the ruching. The cotton sheeting fabric can be dressed up or down, and the ruching stitching adds shape, intrest and "stretchiness." The top of the skirt is a drawstring, which is a bit odd, and not as fitted as I'd like, and I'm not sure I like the pairing I have done here. I'll play with this a lot more in the weeks to come. I can dress up further with pumps, but I was going to dinner with people dressed very casually. I just realized I'm wearing the same wedges again!
