WIW – To the Pediatrician’s

I went into work early today (which went over like a lead balloon with DD) as I have to leave early to take her to the pediatrician’s. Hence, the picture in the office bathroom I wanted to look put together, but also still be very capable of toddler wrangling even after shots! I chose my patterned Ann Taylor top, Talbots black pants, and Rockport oxfords.

I am always looking for ways to amp up my style quotient, so I am open to any recommendations.

Every time I see a picture of you I am blown away by such a tiny waist. You look lovely and dare I say you could wrangle with the best of 'em. Poor baby...shots...ouch!

I love that top on you! Looks stylish and comfy for toddler wrangling too. I think the outfit is great. If you want to amp it up, how about a necklace, or a bracelet on your other wrist (sorry about your wrist!).

A large-ish red (or other bright color) tote bag would look great with your outfit and be handy for carrying kiddie needs.

I chose not to add a necklace to keep the integrity of the neckline. I need to do some arm candy shopping!

And shoes!!! I need to get on that as well.

This is such a great look:) If you want to ramp it up I'd suggest edgier shoes & /or a cuff. I think the shoes can still be neutral.

That looks like a great FFBO for multi-tasking. Those colors and sort of top & pants and comfortable shoes are a stable for me, too, sans toddler. How can we amp up the style factor without getting too fussy or impractical, is my dilemma. Some color in the shoes? Can be hard to find in the workhorse variety. A bright or dramatic cuff sounds good--you look good in the 3/4 or scrunched sleeves, so your wrists are good territory for decoration.

Nice colors and neckline - and you coordinate with the bathroom! How about some sort of colored wrap for your splint to bring in the color : ). (just kidding...)

The top looks great on you. Can't really tell about the shoes in the picture and maybe the trousers could be a tad longer. A cuff to replace your brace eventually also sounds good!

Arm candy and shoes sound like a great way to amp up your already beautiful outfit. I always forget about arm candy, I need to add more of that to my outfits.

I hope DD didn't mind the shots too much!
