WIW – Cobalt and Gold - YouLookFab Forum

Paired my Vince Camuto skirt with a V-neck from Talbots and a necklace from DH for the happy factor. I was stumped on footwear, and then thought my new gold sandals would work. Let me know if they don’t.

Flat ironed my hair a bit, but I think I like it better with some curl. Again, let me know your thoughts. My haircut is 2 weeks away

I really wanted a topper for this, but the one I wore this winter is a heavy wool, and not really 75 degree weather appropriate. So, I am in search of a nice spring/summer topper for this.

Sorry for the funny angle on the picture, but DH took it again in a rush this morning. DD decided she did not want to wear what I had picked out last night for her, and she did not want her hair combed. Ahhh toddlers!

Ditto re a good one. I thought you looked vivacious in the dress with citron highlight too. Personally I think it needs a bit of a heel, but the colour and ankle strap are great. You have really fine ankles so the feature works for you. Your crowning glory is lovely both ways curled or not. Do you wear it up? It might suit you in a tousled up do and add height too. If you are only thinking about another layer for look, then I don't think you need it but if you have a dark long line jacket it should work... I love the glimpse of your garden too!

Love the power in the color and the print. This look is still very professional, but there's just a touch of glamour added. Kind of reminiscent of Mary K or DayVies.

Know all about the toddler. My DD is eleven and dressing issues are coming back again. She would wear basketball shorts and flip flops everywhere!

I love this, Thistle. The skirt is so pretty on you. You look great in cobalt and I love the delicate gold sandals (which may or may not be in my shopping cart.)

I can recommend the sandals highly. Just a bit of a wedge heel, so dressy enough for a skirt, but oh so comfy. My first time wearing them, I have a bit of rubbing at mid day on the foot I shattered as a kid. Nothing too bad - not even bad enough to pop a bandaide on over it. The other foot has no rubbing at all!
