WIW – A skirt two days in a row!

I can barely believe it myself! Pairing my new pencil skirt with a wrap top. My Taryn Rose boots are becoming quite a good buy on a CPW scale.

Wearing a necklace my DH got for me. Would really like to add a gold watch, but I don’t have one yet. It is on my wishlist, but I have yet to find one I love yet.

I popped on a sweater jacket as the wrap top was just not warm enough, even with a cami underneath. I tried the tux jacket, and different cardis first. Would have rather had a burgundy blazer, but I don't currently have one.

Rich, saturated color is so good on you! This is excellent, with and without the jacket. Are you noticing that skirts are as comfy as pants? I was surprised by this, but I often feel more "restricted" in trousers, unless, of course, I have to wear real nylons, instead of bare legs or comfy tights.!

I am finding that purchasing the right pieces make skirts much easier to wear. The tall boots are a must in my climate. The fleece lined tights, too.

I find skirts far more forgiving of my shape - much easier to find ones that fit! I am especially fond of ponte knit ones as they allow such ease of movement !

I have been scouting for more dresses. I like how easily they pull together, but they are much tougher for me to find ones that fit than skirts.
