All good things must come to an end, and so it is with this late winter escape of mine. Mixing and matching 3 bottoms and 4 tops, I was able to get a fair amount of variety with few repeats. #1-3 for morning adventures (with #1 being a repeat from earlier https://youlookfab.com/welookf.....ort-report ) and #4-7 for pm (with #5 being a repeat.) The dress is reversible, and I wore both sides - preferring the predominantly turquoise side for this venue (and wearing it twice.)
I’m happy with the way this small capsule worked out. At the last minute, I removed some cotton knit t-shirts I was intending to bring. Glad I did, since they would have been too warm. All footwear was rotated, though sneakers for workouts only. MVP’s were:
-black fisherman’s sandals (closed toes good for when using resort bicycles and comfortable for walking on pavement, etc.)
-new vacation bikini (worn all but one day)
-LePliage Neo (carry-all on the plane, and pressed into daily beach bag service)
-black Eddie Bauer shorts
-Uniqlo cotton sweater (perfect for breezy pm walks on the beach)
The only wardrobe hole was the lack of a beach cover-up. I could not find what I wanted before the trip, and nothing in the shops here. I have located something on the JCrew site that I may pursue when I get home.
Tomorrow, weather permitting, we head home…
