Wore #1 for running around doing errands, and a walk with DH. Got comments about the cream coloured corduroys - ‘you’re brave, wearing light coloured pants’!? It wasn’t sloppy out so…???
Was inspired by #2, but also saw an Instagram reel with a half dozen plaid scarf looks. The Buchanan plaid scarf is shared by the family. Apparently it’s a ‘family’ plaid on DH’s side. (DH’s parents immigrated to Canada from Scotland in the 1950’s.)
I think it’s the open neck and ruffles of the sweater in #2 as well as the gold metallic footwear. Goes to show you can’t just slap some colours together and expect it to work!
#3 is another outfit with the cream cords. They are soft, with an elastic waist - so easy like sweat pants.
