Linen and cotton items - some old, some new, are getting a work out. We are experiencing a long streak of hot, sunny days with heat warnings and no rain to cool things down.
The lacy tank is ‘old’ from 2018 just before I retired, and the black linen trousers are older and thrifted. The dress is new (already worn 3 times). 100% cotton. Very light and catches the breeze. I wear it with the self tie and also as a ‘saque’. I’m liking the linen shorts as a replacement for performance fabric shorts - which were feeling too hot. The pleated waist and longer length are ‘dressier’ - as far as shorts can be considered dressy!
The pics show how I play pay-it-forward - taking one item from the day before and mixing it with something different the next day.
Not shown, I’m using Uniqlo bags to tote my stuff, including a water bottle, and wearing a navy bucket hat when out in the sun!
