Had an opportunity to ‘dress up’ when friends invited us over for an afternoon of bridge and dinner afterwards, at their home! There were 8 of us and fun was had by all.
The hostess keeps her home cool, so I knew I needed an outfit that would allow for under layers and wool socks. The wide leg pants are linen, but the only full length bottoms I own! I would like them even more if they were an inch longer. Fleece thermals under and the previously mentioned wool socks. Cotton tank under wool sweater. Scarf tied ‘round my neck for added warmth.
The three red items are older than the rest of the items that comprise the outfit. Red was a good choice for a grey November day.
