This morning DH drove me and DS#2 into the Big City (Toronto) for a series of appointments for DS#2. While DS was at his first appointment, we visited a fancy men’s leather goods store (Loaden) and had DH’s belt taken in by 2 inches! (I had bought it as a Christmas present when we were both working, and since retirement in 2018 DH has dropped 25 lbs!) Afterwards we visited Harry Rosen (a nice men’s store) where he picked up a pair of Hugo Boss pants (his ‘go to’ brand.) We all had a nice lunch together outside on a patio on a quiet street with leafy trees overhead providing shade. After lunch DH left for home, DS#2 went to his next appointment, I checked in to the hotel, and then I went and did reconnaissance shopping. After DS’s appointment we did another hour of reconnaissance (he needs an XXL in the item he wants and the store only has XL. We can order online) and then went out for dinner (Thai).

Today I explored a big downtown mall (Eaton Centre) Tomorrow I will be exploring a more eclectic part of town (Queen St.), although the last time I was in town (2 years ago) chain stores were starting to squeeze out the indi shops. So far haven’t bought anything, but did try on two similar brown plaid jackets (see pics #3+4)
