Pastels may be more of a spring thing, but due to a light pair of denim bottoms that are challenging my styling chops - I defaulted to low contrast co-ordinates in light colours.

This is for an urban ramble, coffee and a cupcake at Queenie’s Bakeshop, and more rambling to take in the start of the fall colours. (It is still very green here, but chestnuts, walnuts, and acorns litter the ground and the gardens are all yellow and dark pink.) Rain threatened, and we had the umbrella out for maybe 15 minutes. I was worried about being cold, and even layered a (linen) button down under the sweater. The layers (4 in total) were perfect. Medium weight wool socks. Wasn’t cold, and didn’t overheat on the steep uphills.

As always, thanks for looking!
