A friend who is downsizing offered me a dress she hadn’t worn in 3 years and felt was my style. 100% cotton in a breezy weave. Button down. ‘Sure’ I said.


I did lop off 3 inches since it was a maxi length and I’m not a fan of super long dresses or skirts. The dress is really well made with lots of interesting seaming and well matched stripes. The short sleeves have a pretty pleated detail. Put it into immediate rotation. Though I don’t think the colours are my best, DH approved, and I received two compliments while I was out running errands!
