WI(sort of)W - Wed and Fri inspiration and perspiration

The sort of is today's outfit. It's more accurate to say I tried it on. I'm not leaving the house and so sitting around in a leather skirt is just silly. I'm in purple lounge/yoga pants instead
It was inspired by the pic and also another similar outfit I cut out of a Sept. magazine. (incidentally, I measured the leather skirt and the right 'flippy' side is indeed almost half an inch more fabric than the left - so altering should help fix that issue)

Wednesday's outfit was because the temps were only in the 70's for once. Took myself to lunch and some minor shopping for household goods. But, yet again, the stickiness made up for it and made me quite the moist mess by the time I walked home in a light rain.

Got in a necklace both days for my jewelry challenge. 4 necklaces, 3 earrings, and 2 bracelets to go.

Mo, that's a fantastic interpetation of the magazine look. That skirt is a winner on you and I'm so glad you kept it. Your going out of the house outfit looks great too!

Is there a library or coffeeshop near you? Do you have a laptop? Could you camp out in either location with your computer and enjoy the air conditioning? It must be challenging to spend that much time at home.

Thanks! Sylvie, the short answer is no. The library is 4 miles round trip walk, and quite honestly I wouldn't want to carry my computer through some of that neighborhood lol. I honestly think there is no coffee shop within 50 miles either. Tiki bars and biker bars a plenty, but coffee not so much. It's a different culture down here let's say . . .
I take solace in knowing we'll be home by the holidays. And I guess I'm pretty adaptable in general. From talking with strangers all day behind a bar to silence with the cat. Hmm. Interesting. Wonder if I could dress it up for a resume as a 'strength' ha ha.
